ANCS Members came out overall winners in the Spectacular
Petacular Bird Show held recently at the RNA Showgrounds. The Bird Show was
an open event that included entries from the public and other Bird Clubs and
included all types of birds ranging from canaries and cockatiels to
Alexandrines and Sulfur-crested Cockatoos
.
Members entered birds in 9 Classes out of the total 12
possible Cockatiel Classes and took out 1st Place in 8 of them. To top
off that excellent result they then also wrapped up the Show by taking out
Cockatiel of Show and Runner-Up Cockatiel of Show.

Exhibitors from the ANCS ranged from children to first time
show entries to more experienced breeders and show goers. It has been a
number of years since the ANCS has been involved in an Open Show so it was a
fantastic result to find out our members still breed the best Cockatiels
around!.
